Phil Hardwick is an economic/community developer, consultant and author.

In his regular job he is coordinator of capacity development at the Stennis Institute of Government at Mississippi State University.  As a consultant he facilitates retreats for chambers of commerce, nonprofit organizations, corporate boards and does quite a bit of public speaking.

In addition to being a columnist for the Mississippi Business Journal he also writes mystery novels. His regular blog primarily concentrates on matters of community and economic development.
